اعترف الدولي الفرنسي، لاعب فريق كرة القدم الأول بنادي يوفنتوس الإيطالي بول بوجبا أنه فكر في اعتزال كرة القدم، وذلك بعد مؤامرة الابتزاز التي تعرض لها في العام الماضي.

تعرض الفرنسي بول بوجبا للتهديد من قبل عصابة من الرجال الملثمين والسلحين في شقته بالعاصمة الفرنسية باريس، والذين طالبوا اللاعب بملايين مقابل بعض خدمات الحماية.

وتم التحقيق مع ماتياس شقيق بوجبا، بسبب تورطه في محاولة ابتزاز أخيه، وقضى 3 أشهر في السجن العام الماضي، بينما تم التحقيق مع أربعة أخرين.

وتم إطلاق سراح ماتياس على ذمة القضية، لكنه مُنع من الاتصال بشقيقة مطلقًا، ومغادرة فرنسا وعدم استخدام أي من وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.

بوجبا ظهر للإدلاء بشهادته في قضية الابتزاز أبريل الماضي، وتحدث عن المؤامرة الآن وتأثيرها عليه من خلال تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة “ديلي ميل” البريطانية.

وقال بوجبا: “المال يغيّر الناس، يمكن أن يؤدي المال إلى تفكك الأسر، ويؤدي إلى الحرب بعد ذلك”.

وأضف: “في بعض الأحيان كنت وحدي أفكر، لا أريد الحصول على المال بعد الآن لتجنب تلك القصص والمشاكل، يمكنني فقط أن ألعب كرة القدم بدون أموال”.

وأكمل: “فكرت في الاعتزال، وعدم لعب كرة القدم من الأساس. لأنني أردت الحب من المقربين من أجلي فقط وليس من أجل الشهرة أو الأموال، لقد كان الأمر صعبًا للغاية”.

وكان بوجبا قد أخبر الشرطة في التحقيقات أن العصابة كانت تهدده منذ مارس 2022 وطلبت منه 13 مليون يورو، مقابل الحماية رغم أنه دفع لهم 100 ألف يورو منذ أن تعرض للسطو منهم ببنادق أثناء معسكر دولي مع فرنسا.

ولم يلعب صاحب الـ30 عامًا في الموسم الماضي أي مباراة أساسيًا وشارك في عدد مباريات قليل للغاية بسبب الإصابة التي تعرض لها بعد عودته إلى يوفنتوس من مانشستر يونايتد.

هذا الموسم شارك بوجبا في مباراتين مع النادي من أصل 3، قبل أن يتعرض لإصابة جديدة في مواجهة إمبولي.
