O elenco do Flamengo se apresentou na tarde desta quarta-feira para começar a preparação da temporada. Inicialmente, o Rubro-Negro viajaria para os Estados Unidos, para a disputa da Flórida Cup. Porém, por indisponibilidade de datas, o Rubro-Negro decidiu permanecer no Rio, mais especificamente no centro de treinamento do Ninho do Urubu.

As novidades desta quarta-feira foram as presenças de Conca e Trauco e a volta do jovem atacante Cafu. O jovem formado nas categorias de base do clube estava emprestado, mas em 2017 seguirá com o elenco treinado por Zé Ricardo. Ederson também se apresentou normalmente e fez avaliações com os médicos do clube.

O elenco rubro-negro foi dividido em dois grupos. O primeiro, realizou um teste de condicionamento físico no campo 3, do Ninho do Urubu. Destaque da atividade foi o meia argentino Mancuello, que mais aguentou o ritmo do treino. Diego, Arão, Jorge e Pará foram outros que também estiveram no campo. Restante do grupo ficou na academia, trabalhando a parte física. Conca, Trauco, Guerrero e Réver foram alguns deles.

De acordo com a assessoria de imprensa do clube, grupos serão mantidos nesta quinta-feira, mas com as atividades invertidas. Quem trabalhou na academia vai para o campo, e quem fez o teste de resistência irá fazer as avaliações médicas.

Atualmente, o elenco do Flamengo é composto por 32 atletas. Nesta quarta-feira, data da reapresentação do elenco, apenas 29 estiveram presentes no Ninho do Urubu, já que Vizeu, Lucas Paquetá e Matheus Sávio estão servindo à Seleção Brasileira Sub-20.

O volante Rômulo deve ser anunciado como novo reforço do clube muito em breve. Além dele, o Flamengo busca pelo menos um atacante.

عاد جناح الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي برشلونة، أنسو فاتي، مرة أخرى إلى المدينة الرياضية من جديد لاستكمال علاجه من الإصابة التي تعرض لها منذ أكثر من شهرين.

وأصيب فاتي في 20 يناير الماضي خلال مباراة كأس ملك إسبانيا أمام أتلتيك بلباو في ملعب “سان ماميس”، وكشفت الفحوصات الطبية إصابة اللاعب في وتر العضلة ذات الرأسين من الفخذ الأيمن.

كانت عودة فاتي مقدرة في برشلونة بعد شهرين ونصف، ونصحه الأطباء بإجراء عملية جراحية لوضع حد مع إصاباته المتكررة بعيدًا عن الاكتفاء بالعلاج الطبيعي.

وتعالج الإسباني الدولي في العاصمة “مدريد” على مدار الشهرين الماضيين، ولكنه عاد اليوم للمدينة الرياضية الخاصة بتدريبات برشلونة ولكن ما زال لديه وقت طويل حتى يتدرب جماعيًا ويشارك في المباريات الرسمية.

حتى الآن، لا يوجد موعد نهائي لعودة فاتي إلى التدريبات، لكن هناك تفاؤل داخل نادي برشلونة رغم استبعاده التام من مباراتي إشبيلية وليفانتي في الدوري الإسباني ومباراتي ربع نهائي الدوري الأوروبي أمام آنتراخت فرانكفورت، بحسب صحيفة “آس” الإسبانية.

ربما تكون العودة امام قادش في 18 أبريل المقبل أو بعد ذلك بأسبوع في المباراة المؤجلة ضد رايو فاييكانو في 24 أبريل.

What’s the talk?

That’s according to a report by talkSPORT, who claim that Mark Warburton’s side are in round-the-clock negotiations with Fulham regarding a permanent deal for the 30-year-old midfielder following his successful loan spell at the club last season.

It is reported that a deal for the £1.8m-rated Norway international is one of the club’s main priorities in the summer transfer window and that talks with Fulham have been positive, although no imminent announcement is expected.

Fans will be buzzing

Considering just how impressive Johansen was for QPR after joining the club on loan back in January, the news that the Rs are working tirelessly to secure the central midfielder’s return to the club on a permanent basis this summer is sure to have fans buzzing.

Indeed, over his 21 Championship appearances for Warburton’s side last term, the £8k-per-week man scored four goals, registered two assists and created two big chances for his teammates, as well as making an average of 0.8 interceptions, 1.1 tackles and 1.6 key passes per game.

These returns saw the former Celtic star – whom Ronny Deila dubbed an “unbelievable” player – earn a seasonal SofaScore match rating of 7.00, ranking him as the Rs’ sixth-best performer in the second tier.

As such, when taking into account QPR’s remarkable form since the turn of the year, winning 15, drawing two and losing seven of their 24 league fixtures in 2021, the return of the midfielder this summer would appear to significantly boost the chances of the club mounting a push for a top-six finish next season.

And, considering the fact that Warburton’s side have already tied up deals for Charlie Austin, Jordy de Wijs and Sam Field, the further addition of Johansen would truly be a fantastic start to the club’s transfer business this summer, as well as issuing a real statement of intent to their fellow Championship sides ahead of next term.

كشفت تقارير صحفية أن منزل الأسطورة الإنجليزية ديفيد بيكهام في العاصمة لندن، تعرض للاقتحام على يد لص مقنع، أثناء تواجد العائلة في المنزل.

اقتحم رجل ملثم قصر عائلة بيكهام في لندن، بينما كان ديفيد وزوجته فيكتوريا، وابنتهما هاربر سيفن البالغة من العمر 10 سنوات بالداخل.

وحسبما أكدت صحيفة “ذا صن” البريطانية، أنه تم اكتشاف عملية السطو من قبل ابن بيكهام، كروز، البالغ من العمر 17 عامًا، والذي عاد إلى المنزل في وقت متأخر واكتشف نافذة مكسورة في غرفة الضيوف.

ونقلت الصحيفة البريطانية تصريحات مصدر مقرب، أن عملية السطو لم تستغرق دقائق وبدون خسائر، ووصل اللص إلى غرفة نوم واحدة فقط قبل أن يفر هاربًا.

Esse roteiro lembra um pouco aquilo que ocorreu com Gabriel Jesus em sua ascensão meteórica. Vitinho, porém, prefere evitar comparações com o amigo, e como disse anteriormente, vê o ex-companheiro como espelho.

– Acho que é uma honra ser comparado com Jesus, mas eu não vejo dessa forma, eu tenho uma característica, ele tem a dele, o nosso estilo é até um pouco parecido, ele é um pouco mais forte do que eu, mas ele é um excelente jogador, me espelho muito nele, já falei isso pra ele também, a gente tem uma amizade verdadeira, hoje ele está seguindo o caminho dele e eu vou lutar pelo meu espaço aqui.

O encantamento por Vitinho não fica apenas entre os torcedores comuns, a admiração pelo jovem do Alviverde vem também do comandante Eduardo Baptista, que já sabia do potencial do garoto antes mesmo de assumir o Verdão, mas prega cautela.

– Vitinho já vi jogar na Ponte Preta, ele foi fazer uma Copa do Brasil (sub-20) e ele tinha arrebentado com o jogo. Aquele dia já me chamou a atenção. Quando vim para cá, a primeira pergunta que fiz foi: “onde está este menino?”. É um jovem, ele vai oscilar e temos de ter o cuidado de ir dosando. Ele foi premiado com o gol pela personalidade, vai ser trabalhado e tomara que tenha um futuro brilhante pela frente – afirmou.

Mas os elogios não pararam por aí, eles vieram também de instâncias superiores, do presidente Maurício Galiotte, que apesar de colocar amistoso contra a Chape em primeiro plano, não deixou de valorizar o feito da cria da base palmeirense.

– Foi um belo gol (do Vitinho), mas eu repito: o nosso objetivo aqui é maior do que o jogo, do que o gol. É ajudar a Chapecoense, encher a Arena Condá, ajudar. Agora, que o gol foi bonito, sem dúvida que foi bonito – finalizou.

Vitinho e a delegação do Palmeiras voltaram a São Paulo ainda na noite desse sábado. No próximo domingo, dia 29, o Verdão faz outro amistoso, dessa vez em casa, no Allianz Parque, contra a Ponte Preta.

Celtic legend Chris Sutton says it ‘isn’t great’ that John Kennedy, rather than Ange Postecoglou, will take charge of the first day of pre-season training.

The lowdown

Celtic confirmed the appointment of Postecoglou as their new manager on Thursday after a period of 107 days without a permanent boss (via The Guardian).

But after leaving Japanese outfit Yokohama F. Marinos, Covid-19 rules dictate that he’ll have to undertake 10 days of quarantine on arrival to the UK.

The result is that John Kennedy, who took the reins for the 2020/21 run-in after Neil Lennon’s departure, will be the man welcoming some of the players back on June 17 (via Daily Record).

Celtic have scheduled what they call a ‘vitally important’ pre-season training camp in Wales between July 5 and 14, during which they will play Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton Athletic and Bristol City in closed-door friendlies.

The latest

Writing in his Daily Record column, Sutton admitted the period of isolation was far from ideal, undermining the sense of a ‘fresh start’ at Celtic Park.

“The fact that John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan will be taking the first day of pre-season training isn’t great for a start,” he wrote.

“No harm to them but they were part of last season’s failure.

“The last thing the squad needs is the same old faces when they are being promised a fresh start.”

The verdict

One can understand where Sutton is coming from here. The Celtic players will want to feel like a new era is underway at the outset as they look to banish last season’s woes, but there’ll be an element of continuity from last season’s nightmare.

Kennedy averaged just 1.6 points per game as caretaker boss, which is miles away from what the Hoops will need to catch up with Rangers next season.

Postecoglou will want to begin implementing his philosophy immediately, and the late return of players who are involved in the European Championships only complicates matters further.

Patience will definitely be required from Hoops fans.
