علق مختار مختار لاعب الأهلي الأسبق، على أداء منتخب مصر خلال المباراتين الماضيتين أمام نيجيريا وغينيا بيساو في دور المجموعات من بطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية، الكاميرون 2021.

وكان منتخب مصر قد تعرض للهزيمة بهدف دون رد في لقاء الجولة الأولى أمام نيجيريا، قبل أن يفوز بهدف نظيف على غينيا بيساو بالجولة الثانية.

وقال مختار خلال تصريحاته ببرنامج “أوضة اللبس” عبر قناة “النهار”: “عمر كمال عبد الواحد يمتلك مقومات عالية للغاية، وفي مباراة نيجيريا فاجأ كيروش الجميع وشارك محمد عبد المنعم بدلًا من أكرم توفيق بالرغم من أن عمر كمال متواجد بديل للاعب المصاب”.

وتابع: “متعجب للغاية من تواجد محمد صلاح في مركز المهاجم خلال المباريات ولكنه لا يجيد مع منتخب مصر هذا المركز بالرغم من أنه سجل هدف الفوز في مرمى غينيا بيساو، صلاح خطورته تكون في مركز الجناح، وعندما يلعب في مركز المهاجم يكون شكله سيئ في الملعب، ولابد أن يتحدث مع المدرب”.

وأضاف: “كيروش يريد تواجد اللاعبين المحترفين داخل أرض الملعب دون النظر إلى مستواهم، لابد أن يشارك اللاعب الأفضل، وهناك لاعبين على مقاعد البدلاء لديهم خبرات جيدة ويستطيعون اللعب بشكل متميز”.

وأردف: “لا أحب الهجوم على المدربين ولكن منتخب مصر قدم مباراة سيئة أمام غينيا بيساو، فزنا ولكن الأداء لم يكن جيدًا، والمدرب لابد أن يتدخل من أجل تصحيح الأمور ولا يصبح متفرجًا مثل الجماهير، طريقة اللعب غير مفهومة لمنتخب مصر مع كارلوس كيروش، ولا توجد أي أفكار للمدرب مع منتخب مصر حتى الآن”.

واسترسل: “محمد صلاح نجم كبير ولابد أن يتحدث ويتدخل في الأمور الخاصة بالتكتيك داخل أرض الملعب وخطورته دائما تكون في الأجناب، يجب على اللاعبين أن يتحدثوا مع المدرب لو هو لا يعرف إمكانياتهم، هذا الأمر يزعجني جدًا، منتخب مصر كبير ويجب على كيروش أن يعرف هذا”.

واستدرك: “لست معتادًا على الحديث عن المدربين ولكن كيروش طريقته مستفزة للغاية، كيف لا يتحدث اللاعبون مع المدرب، ولو الجهاز المعاون يخاف الحديث معه هذا أمر يجب ألا يمر هكذا”.

وأضاف: “كل لاعب لا يلعب في مركزه لن يؤدي، حسام البدري الكل كان يتحدث عنه بشكل سيئ ولكن الآن عرفنا قيمته، عملي كمدرب أن يكون هناك كلام مع اللاعبين الكبار  ويكون لهم دور ورأي يحترم، ولكن ما يحدث مع منتخب مصر حاليا غير مفهوم، المنتخب سيئ جدا مع كيروش”.

واختتم: “لا يوجد شخصية ولا روح، وهناك أشياء كثيرة نفتقدها ولابد من وجود الحلول في الفترة القادمة، غينيا بيساو كانت افضل منا في المباراة، والكل كان يخشى من هدف التعادل، والجماهير وصل لها الإحباط قبل إلغاء الهدف ولابد من التدخل حاليا (شكلنا وحش أوي)”.

James Ward-Prowse has become undroppable at Southampton in recent seasons and his impressive performances under Ralph Hasenhuttl have seen his market value rise to its highest-ever point.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed an impressive campaign in the Premier League which has seen him contribute seven goals and five assists in 29 top-flight appearances, helping him earn an impressive 7.10 average rating.

This is enough to see him ranked as Southampton’s best performer in the Premier League so far this season, which emphasises just how important he is in Hasenhuttl’s side.

Only Jan Bednarek and Ward-Prowse have appeared in every top-flight fixture this season, with the Englishman one constant in a Saints midfield which has been chopped and changed throughout the season, as a result of the various injury issues with which Hasenhuttl has had to contend.

The Saints captain is a product of the youth academy and has slowly seen his market value on Transfermarkt rise in recent seasons as a result of impressive performances, but his time under Hasenhuttl in particular has really seen his value shoot up.

When the Austrian was appointed in December 2018, Ward-Prowse’s market value moved down to just £13.5m, but in the two-and-a-half years since, it has reached a new high of £25.2m.

The 26-year-old’s call-up to the England squad will undoubtedly have helped with this but you must credit both Ward-Prowse and Hasenhuttl for the way he has improved in the last couple of seasons.

The one worry for Southampton will now be whether they can keep hold of their captain moving forwards, as this has been one of his best seasons in the Premier League, with his set pieces in particular earning him a lot of plaudits.

Tottenham Hotspur has been touted as a potential option for the 26-year-old in the future, with Glenn Hoddle suggesting he could replace Christian Eriksen at the north London club, so perhaps we will see some interest in the midfielder in the summer.

Considering his value is at an all-time high, Southampton vice-chairman Martin Semmens may well be licking his lips at the prospect of cashing in on Ward-Prowse for a hefty fee in the summer.

O Grêmio ficou em boa situação para avançar às quartas de final da Copa do Brasil. Com gol de Miller Bolaños, o Tricolor derrotou o Atlético-PR em plena Arena da Baixada, por 1 a 0, na noite desta quarta-feira. Marcando com eficiência, o Grêmio manteve a volúpia ofensiva vista desde o início do jogo e seguiu melhor. Luan, duas vezes, e Edílson tiveram boas chances. Já o Atlético, contando com Galhardo no meio e o estreante Luan, ex-Palmeiras, pouco fez. Faltou inspiração para Furacão na etapa inicial.

O Atlético voltou muito bem para o segundo tempo, principalmente graças as entradas de Juninho e João Pedro. Com mais inspiração e qualidade no meio, o Furacão tratou de pressionar o Grêmio e passou a ter chances de empate.

Sobrou vontade para o Atlético, mas faltou precisão. Luan e André Lima tiveram boas oportunidades, mas não conseguiram transpor Grohe. Eficaz na marcação, o Tricolor ainda teve ótima chance com Everton e garantiu boa vantagem para seguir na Copa do Brasil.

ويدين الفراعنة لـ محمد صلاح، بعد تحقيق الفوز الأول في دور المجموعات، حيث سجّل نجم ليفربول هدف المباراة الوحيد لمنتخبنا الوطني.

مصر بهذا الفوز تنعش آمالها في الوصول إلى دور الـ16، حيث أصبح رصيد وصيف نسخة 2017، 3 نقاط في المرتبة الثانية بالمجموعة الرابعة خلف نيجيريا التي تأهلت بالفعل إلى ثمن النهائي.

البداية مع موقع “Kawowo Sports” الكيني: “صلاح يسجل ومصر تتفوق على غينيا بيساو في المجموعة الرابعة”.

وأضاف: “نجم ليفربول محمد صلاح، سجّل الهدف الوحيد في تلك الليلة، لتفوز الفراعنة في أمم إفريقيا 2021”.

وقالت الصحيفة في تقريرها عن المباراة: “بفضل هدف من جناح ليفربول في الشوط الثاني، طمأن الفراعنة أنفسهم أمام غينيا بيساو بفوز بهدف وحيد، واحتلت المركز الثاني في المجموعة الرابعة خلف نيجيريا”.

وتابعت: “لقد تعافى الفراعنة بعد الهزيمة من نيجيريا بهدف نظيف، بعدما أجرى أيضًا كارلوس كيروش بعض التغييرات على أسلوبه واعتمد على عبد الله السعيد وعمر كمال على يسار الدفاع”.

Wilfried Zaha has unsurprisingly been one of Crystal Palace’s inspirational stars throughout the current campaign.

Despite missing large swaths of the season, he has been one of the Eagles’ stand-out performers once again, scoring nine goals alone in the Premier League.

However, it could have been so different had Steve Parish sold the Ivorian to Arsenal.

Zaha has long been linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium, with reports as recently as July 2019 suggesting that he wished to leave Selhurst Park amidst interest from the Gunners.

Even Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has made his praise of Zaha clear, previously labelling the winger as “phenomenal”.

With Ian Holloway recently appealing for Arsenal to reignite their interest, suggesting that the Londoners purchased the wrong winger when they brought in Nicolas Pepe from Lille, Palace will be glad they held firm.

His importance to Palace has never been understated, with his 45 Premier League goals the most in the club’s history – the next highest is Luka Milivojevic on just 28.

That is exemplified this season with Zaha’s goals alone being worth eight points to Crystal Palace.

Without him, Roy Hodgson’s men would be stuck on 29 points and firmly marooned in the Premier League relegation mire.

With the huge differences in revenue between the top-flight and the Championship, any demotion for a club of Palace’s size really could have been devastating.

Whilst Zaha is rated at £40.5m, the reward for another season in the Premier League is worth far more, the importance of remaining in the top-flight surely outweighs any transfer fee that they may have received for Zaha’s signature.

So, with the Eagles set to profit even more with the vital help of Zaha, the Selhurst Park hierarchy will surely be delighted that they managed to hold onto the 18-cap Ivorian despite Arsenal’s overtures.

O Atlético voltará a atuar pelo Brasileirão na próxima segunda-feira, quando visitará o Fluminense, em Édson Passos, às 20h. Já o Vitória, dois dias antes, receberá o Flamengo no Barradão, às 18h30.

GALO SAI NA FRENTE COM FRED

Como era esperado, o Galo tentou tomar as rédeas do jogo desde o início e teve boa chance com Carlos Eduardo logo com três minutos. Robinho, com 22 gols na temporada, levou perigo aos dez e deixou Fred sem goleiro pouco depois. Mas o camisa 99, após cometer falta em Ramon, acertou o travessão. As chances de gol eram atleticanas, mas o Vitória equilibraria a partida com o passar do tempo.

O Rubro-Negro baiano chegou para o duelo com o Galo ostentando um aproveitamento de apenas 21,2% dos pontos disputados fora de Salvador (uma vitória, quatro empates e seis derrotas) e, após o Atlético criar boas chances de gol, o Leão passou a ter mais posse de bola e mostrou personalidade. Marinho, aos 37, teve ótima oportunidade, mas não passou por Giovanni. Mas caberia ao Galo sair na frente. Investida iniciada por Fred, passe de Carlos Eduardo e conclusão de primeira do centroavante, aos 45, sem chance para Fernando Miguel.

LEÃO REAGE, MAS FRED VOLTA A DECIDIR

Já com Clayton na vaga de Carlos Eduardo para a etapa final, o Galo não tardou para criar boa chance de gol com Edcarlos. O Vitória, por sua vez, mantinha a postura vista no primeiro tempo e tentava transpor a marcação rival. E o objetivo seria alcançado aos 12 minutos. Cobrança de escanteio, antecipação de Kanu e tudo igual em Belo Horizonte.

A igualdade na Arena Independência não duraria muito. Após momentos de pressão na área rival, Fábio Santos deixou Fred na boa. Dentro da área, ele dominou a boa no peito e, aos 17 minutos, voltou a vencer Fernando Miguel. E Fred seguiria sendo o destaque do jogo. Boa chance perdida antes de abrir o placar, dois gols e… outra grande oportunidade desperdiçada. O camisa 99 ficou sem goleiro e acertou trave. Ele teve o rebote, mas não aproveitou.

Os minutos finais fora de um valente Vitória tentando transpor a marcação atleticana em busca de um novo empate, mas sem a tranquIlidade necessária para atingir tal meta. E ainda houve tempo para Robinho, após nova falha de Fernando Miguel, errar o alvo.

Tottenham Hotspur are in need of a squad overhaul this summer, irrespective of whether or not Jose Mourinho remains in charge.

However, the reality is that the Portuguese is likely to keep his job given he’s one of the highest-paid managers in world football and remains under contract until 2023 without a break clause, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

A mega-money payout is probably the last thing Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wants to do and you also have to consider the fact that much of this squad was inherited, so many of Mourinho’s problems have been lingering long before he arrived.

And as such, the Telegraph’s Matt Law believes a rebuild could happen at the end of the season, with many players facing an unlikely future…

Dele Alli

One name mentioned is, of course, Dele Alli.

The 24-year-old midfielder saw a move to Mauricio Pochettino’s Paris Saint-Germain collapse in January and is still struggling for game time under Mourinho.

Indeed, Alli has played only 964 minutes in all competitions this campaign; an average of 43 minutes per outing, via Transfermarkt.

As a result of him festering away on the bench and often on the sideline, his overall transfer value has plummeted 71% in the space of two years, with CIES Football Observatory now rating his worth at just €30m (£26m).

Now Football Insider claim that PSG could come back in for him in the summer.

Alli certainly has a lot to prove after the international break, though his route into the starting XI looks rather difficult. Tanguy Ndombele is now a first-team regular, and Giovani Lo Celso has recently returned from injury.

It seems hard to imagine that his Spurs career is done for at just 24, but if he can make a point to Mourinho in training in the coming months, then who knows what can happen.

He’s certainly going to have to fight for his future in north London, if he wishes to remain.

Harry Winks

Another name mentioned by the Telegraph is Harry Winks, who has gone from a trusted and highly-rated marshall in midfield under Pochettino to a forgotten man.

He too has been linked with interest ahead of the summer transfer window – Sport (via Sport Witness) claim the 25-year-old will insist for a move this summer amid likely interest from La Liga.

It would be an interesting move to make as he was once dubbed England’s Andres Iniesta by the ex-Spurs boss.

“Harry has the profile of the perfect midfield player,” explained Pochettino to the Evening Standard. “His characteristics are perfect. When we talk about midfielders like Xavi and Iniesta, he’s like this type of player.”

However, Winks has played only 24 times this campaign, of which only seven appearances are starts in the Premier League. And just one of those has come since the middle of January, as per Transfermarkt.

And just like Alli, his value has sunk from £36m in December 2019 (Transfermarkt) to €30m (£26m) in March 2021 (CIES).

As a graduate from the Hotspur Way system, you’d imagine there is nothing he’d like more than to feature but again, just like Alli, he’s out of the England fold and may need to move onto pastures new.

He’ll have to make a big statement if given an opportunity to do so before the end of the season.

Serge Aurier

A third name mentioned by the report is Serge Aurier. Perhaps the most surprising, given his turnaround in form this season.

The £18m-rated defender looked set to be replaced in the summer when Spurs clinched Matt Doherty for £15m from Wolves but if anything, that only spurned the Ivorian on, as he’s often been preferred at right-back.

Darren Bent once lambasted Aurier as a “liability” whilst Mourinho was seen telling the former PSG man that he was afraid of his ‘poor’ defending during Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing’ docuseries last year.

Maybe that still grates on his mind and with the £70k-per-week star soon-to-be entering the final year of his deal, it’s easy to see why he may be moved on.

He’ll need to keep performing at a higher level to Doherty in these coming months to remain in N17 for the long-term. He too must be playing for his Spurs future alongside Alli and Winks.

وتابع دي ليخت: “لقد كان انتصار أساسي لنا أمام أودينيزي ولا يزال لدينا العديد من الأشياء التي تحتاج إلى تحسين، ولكن الشيء المهم هو أننا فزنا”.

وأردف الهولندي: “علينا أن نستمر في النمو بشكل تدريجي، لقد فزنا بستة من آخر ثماني مباريات بالدوري الإيطالي ونحقق أهدافنا”.

يواصل يوفنتوس تسجيل أهداف قليلة نسبيًا وسُئل دي ليخت عما إذا كان قد يفتقد قاتلا مثل كريستيانو رونالدو بعد انتقاله إلى مانشستر يونايتد.

وأجاب: “أعتقد ذلك، نعم، كريستيانو هو من نوعية اللاعبين الذين يدخلون منطقة الجزاء ويسجلون هدفًا دائمًا، ونادرًا ما يضيع فرصة لقد افتقدنا ذلك منذ بداية الموسم”.

وأتم دي ليخت: “ليس لدينا قاتل محترف يمكنه تسجيل 30 هدفًا في الموسم، لكننا بحاجة إلى المساهمة بأهداف من الجميع وفي كل مكان، وهو ما بدأ يحدث الآن”.
