انتهى الاجتماع الفني الخاص بمباراة الأهلي والوداد المغربي، اليوم الجمعة، والذي أقيم في مقر إقامة ممثلي الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “كاف”.

ويلتقي الأهلي والوداد البيضاوي، في التاسعة من مساء غد السبت، بتوقيت القاهرة، الثامنة مساءً بتوقيت المغرب، في ذهاب دور نصف نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا، على ملعب محمد الخامس بالدار البيضاء.

وحضر الاجتماع سيد عبد الحفيظ، مدير الكرة بالأهلي، وسمير عدلي المدير الإداري، وماهر عبد العزيز إداري الفريق؛ للاتفاق على كافة التفاصيل الخاصة بمباراة الفريقين.

وأسفر الاجتماع عن الاتفاق على أن يرتدي النادي الأهلي الزي الأسود بالكامل، على أن يرتدي الوداد الزي الأبيض بالكامل.

كما شهد الاجتماع الاتفاق على الجوانب التنظيمية المتعلقة بموعد وصول الفريقين إلى استاد محمد الخامس الذي يستضيف اللقاء، ومواعيد عمليات الإحماء وتنظيم دخول بعثة الفريق وفقا للإجراءات التي أقرها الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم كاف للمباراة.

وجه لاعب مانشستر يونايتد برونو فرنانديز تحذيرًا قويًا لنظيره باريس سان جيرمان، قبل مباراة الغد المرتقبة في بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وسيلتقي الفريقان في الجولة الأولى من دور مجموعات البطولة، في ملعب حديقة الأمراء.

وقال برونو فرنانديز، في مؤتمر صحفي نشره الموقع الرسمي للبطولة: “عندما تلعب لنادِ مثل مانشستر يونايتد، فأنت تتطلع إلى الفوز بالبطولات”.

وأضاف البرتغالي: “لا أعرف ما إذا كنا سنفوز ولكن هذا مهم، عقلية مانشستر يونايتد هي الفوز ثم الفوز، سيكون الأمر كذلك”.

وواصل: “سيكون أمرًا جيدًا إذا نجحنا في الفوز بالألقاب هذا الموسم، نحن نريد ذلك بالفعل”.

وعندما سُئل عن طبيعة شخصيته الحماسية في المباريات، أجاب برونو: “أعتقد أنني نشأت هكذا، هذه هي الطريقة التي يجب أن أكون عليها، أحيانًا يكون هذا الأمر موجود بشكل زائد”.

وأوضح: “لكنني أعتقد أنه يمكنني مساعدة الفريق بالطريقة التي أنا عليها الآن، كل اللاعبين مختلفون وتحتاج إلى كل هذه الشخصيات لإكمال الفريق”.

Bernd Leno has won Arsenal’s Player of the Month award, per Arsenal’s official website.

The goalkeeper enjoyed a superb showing in the north London derby in March, making a brilliant double save from Christian Eriksen and Moussa Sissoko as the Gunners earned a 1-1 draw at Wembley.

Arsenal beat Manchester United in the Premier League and defeated Rennes over two legs in March.

Leno was key to the first victory, making an excellent save from Romelu Lukaku as the Gunners won 2-0 to inflict Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first league defeat as United boss.

Fans voted for the Germany international to win the award in the droves, with the club’s website reporting that he gained 70% of the votes.

Midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka came in second and third.

Leno has made a total of 29 appearances in all competitions thus far this season, keeping eight clean sheets in total.

يشعر جناح الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي باريس سان جيرمان، نيمار دا سيلفا، بالقلق تجاه مستقبله خلال السنوات المقبلة مع اقتراب عقده من الانتهاء.

وينتهي عقد نيمار مع باريس سان جيرمان في يونيو 2022، ولكن هناك شعور بالقلق من جانب البرازيلي بسبب عدم بداية المفاوضات من قبل النادي الفرنسي للعقد الجديد.

Tony Pulis has made some bizarre decisions during Boro’s current slump, and has often looked devoid of ideas of how to get back into a game from a losing position.

Strange then, to hear him singing the praises of one of the Teesside club’s rising stars, and lament how he has deserved more playing time and how he will become a Premier League player, yet continuously overlook him game after game.

The player in question, 20-year-old Marcus Tavernier, has all the attributes the side have been lacking in recent weeks.

Speaking to Teesside Live about the player, Pulis said: “If I’ve got a bit of a disappointment it’s that Tav hasn’t had as many games as he deserves.

“He’s going to be a top player. He’ll eventually play in the Premier League.”

He has a creative eye, pace in abundance, and the enthusiasm of youth. All these traits, along with the added incentive of wanting to impress the manager, makes it all the more amazing that the player has managed just a handful of minutes — mainly in cameo roles — since the turn of the year.

In fact, he scored for Boro’ in his last league appearance in which he was given time to influence a game, when he was brought off the bench with 29 minutes remaining against Ipswich in December.

His reward was to remain unused on the bench for the next two games before being left out of the squad completely.

He made no more appearances until February, but, even then, has only been on the pitch for a total of 33 minutes throughout 2019.

It is staggering, in the current woeful form, that Pulis has not given Tavernier a chance, and if he wants things to improve, then he must consider giving the youngster the opportunity he has been patiently waiting for.

If Pulis’ days in the Boro’ hot-seat are numbered, surely he should be at least wanting to try new things that might see Boro’ out of their slump.

The one thing that he would get from playing Tavernier, would be an energetic display, and the youngster would have the full support of the Boro’ fans behind him.

If nothing else, it would show that the manager is trying new ideas to rectify the situation.

As it is, he is often seen to be just plodding along, week after week, seemingly without the nous or ability to do anything different.

علق خالد الغندور قائد الزمالك الأسبق على تأهل الأهلي إلى نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا بعد تغلبه على الوداد المغربي اليوم في نصف النهائي.

وانتصر الاهلي على الوداد بنتيجة 5-1 في مجموع مباراتي الذهاب والإياب.

جدير بالذكر أن الاتحاد الإفريقي قد أجرى قرعة لتحديد ملعب نهائي دوري الأبطال وأسفرت عن إقامة المباراة في مصر حال تأهل الأهلي أو الزمالك.

Tottenham Hotspur fans insist that Fernandinho should be banned from the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash later this week.

Spurs won the first leg 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Son Heung-Min scoring the only goal of the game.

Fernandinho was involved in a clash with striker Harry Kane before his injury, seemingly elbowing the England international in the back of the head.

Pep Guardiola, however, has now claimed that the Brazilian is a fitness doubt for the decisive encounter at the Etihad Stadium.

Speaking after the encounter with Crystal Palace in the Premier League, in which Fernandinho was left out, Guardiola was asked if his omission was due to an injury.

Per The Sun, he replied: “Yes. He finished badly against Tottenham. Today he is not fit. It’s short-term.”

And Spurs fans have reacted to the news on Twitter, insisting that there should be no doubt whatsoever over his involvement, as he should have been sent off anyway.

According to Portuguese outlet, Record, Wolves target Rafa Camacho is attracting the interest of both Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. With this in mind, should the Midlands club follow up on their own interest?

What’s the word?

Back in early April, Goal claimed that Liverpool were fielding interest from the likes of Wolves for Camacho. However, he’s now being linked to two top European clubs in Dortmund and Leipzig by Record.

The 18-year-old’s contract ends in 2020 and as a result, the Merseysiders might well be looking to cash in on him this summer, rather than risk losing him for nothing. This is the case especially after his contract talks reportedly stalled earlier in the month according to Sky Sports.

Camacho hinted at a possible rift at Liverpool last week, posting comments on Instagram saying: “I do not know whose idea it is, but I will prove that they are mistaken about my football. I’m not a right defender, I’m an attacker who scores goals.”

This came after he scored a hat-trick for the club’s U23 side versus Leicester.

Camacho wouldn’t suit Wolves

The versatile Portuguese starlet has played at right-back for Liverpool’s senior team in the past which suggests he could play in a wing-back role for Wolves.

It’s a role he’d likely be very accomplished in given his attributes. However, the fact Camacho himself has stressed that he’s an attack-minded player suggests he wouldn’t particularly fancy playing further back.

This means that any interest Wolves have in the player should be forgotten about. Nuno Santo doesn’t play with wingers in his system and, therefore, it makes it difficult to see Camacho fitting into the side at Molineux.

Unless Nuno decides to change the way Wolves play, then the club should focus their attention on developing another Portuguese talent in Ruben Vinagre, who is already at the club.

وتحدث زيدان في مؤتمر صحفي خاص بمباراة ريال مدريد أمام هويسكا بمنافسات الليجا، ونشرت صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية تصريحاته.

وأردف زيدان: “لا أعتقد أن هذا سيضر بصورة بنزيمة لأن هذا حدث دائمًا وفي النهاية ينتهي الأمر في الملعب، اليوم هناك العديد من الكاميرات التي تسجل اللقطات، لكن هذا يحدث دائمًا”.

وأكد الفرنسي:” لا توجد مشكلة، الشيء المهم أن طاقتنا تركز على مباراة الغد، والباقي قد تم توضيحه بالفعل، قيل الكثير من الأشياء على أرض الملعب، قيل الكثير عن الآخرين وغيرهم وعني أيضًا”.

وأشاد زيدان بفينيسيوس: “فينيسيوس لاعبنا، إنه شاب ولديه حاضر ومستقبل في مدريد، إنه يعمل وأراه جيدًا، هو صبي يريد التعلم والتحسين وهذا أمر جيد للمدرب وللفريق”.

Paul Robinson has urged Tottenham Hotspur to keep Christian Eriksen at the club, per beIN Sports.

What’s he said?

Eriksen’s current contract expires at the end of next season and rumours continue to swirl surrounding his future.

The Denmark international has been linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Eriksen issued Spurs another reminder of his quality on Tuesday night, as he scored a superb long-range winner against Brighton to give the club all three points.

That result heightened the chances of Spurs finishing in the top four this season.

But Robinson insists that, unless they tie Eriksen down, they may be forced to cash in this summer, instead of letting him leave on a free at the end of next season.

“You can’t let a player of his quality go into the last year of his contract because come January he can speak to other teams,” Robinson told beIn Sport.

“There must be something amiss. They’re obviously talking. Tottenham won’t want him to leave at all. If they come to a point where negotiations have broken down that far then they may have to sell him and cash in.

“They will make the top four. But a player of his level of ability and his ambitions, they’ll be no shortage of suitors. He’d definitely want to play in the Champions League. When Real Madrid come knocking, they don’t come knocking twice and as Tottenham have proved in the past they are willing to sell players and re-invest in the team.

“If it comes to a point where they can’t agree on a contract with him, there’s going to have to be an executive business decision made where we can’t allow a player of his quality leave for nothing, so they would have to sell him.”

An intriguing possibility

Will Eriksen ever get another chance to move to Real?

Robinson is right to insist that Real “don’t come knocking twice” and, after a particularly up-and-down season, Spurs might be well advised to cash in.

Eriksen’s goal against Brighton came after a performance of running down blind alleys and losing the ball.

That has characterised the majority of his Spurs career and he may not actually be good enough to play at the Bernabeu – a stadium which has chewed up Gareth Bale and is now threatening to spit him back out.

Eriksen may well have found his level at Spurs and a massive offer from Real should absolutely be considered.

Indeed, it may not be the end of the world if a bid is accepted.
